The West path towards Santa Teresa Gallura” is a route full of landscapes and glimpses, a privileged view of Mediterranean nature.
You reach Porto Bello di Gallura. Its beach is very particular with fine-grained dark pink sand, a jagged cliff and a wonderful crystalline sea, an unspoilt nature that enchants. Once you have crossed the Vignola stream, you arrive at a marine panorama, accompanied by the coast covered by mastic fronds.
From Vignola the road goes back along the sea and after a few kilometres, after the promontory of Monte Russo, you reach the beach of Rena Maiore, a strip of white sand with a clear sea, bordered by dark rocks and light granite rocks . From here it takes only ten kilometers to Capo Testa and Santa Teresa Gallura.
Elegant and rich in history, Santa Teresa Gallura is the northernmost town in Sardinia, it is located right in front of the Strait of Bonifacio. Unique nature, suggestive landscapes and dream beaches: in Santa Teresa and its surroundings there are wonderful beaches, some of the most beautiful on the island.
We will take you to the Rena Bianca beach which is a small stretch of white sand in the heart of the town, with shallow seabed and transparent waters. On the Capo Testa peninsula, two other jewels of sand and sea: to the left of the isthmus is Rena di Ponente and to the right Rena di Levante, ideal for swimming in any wind direction.
During the “The West path towards Santa Teresa Gallura” excursion we will stay in B&Bs and/or farmhouses where we will be able to taste typical local products and Italian breakfast.
